Shotput is the first fractional ownership platform exclusively focused on digital assets. Here you can acquire your share of high-value digital property, starting with domain names. These encrypted rare assets have fungibility, utility and are built on a decentralized transfer system — which features a traceable ledger of ownership. Does that sound familiar?
We started Shotput.com for three reasons:
Be sure to read the FAQ PAGE if you have questions about how the platform works.
Hi, I’m Aron Meystedt. I’ve been in the business of domain names and digital assets for 20 years.
I’ve bought and sold high value properties such as: OC.com, HY.com, SZ.com, XF.com, NL.com, DEC.com, NMA.com, Black.com, Digital.com, Cute.com, March.com, Napkin.com, Classic.com, MutualFunds.com, Advisor.com, Rags.com, Tablets.com, Copier.com, Copies.com, XFactor.com and countless others.
I started the Domains and IP Category at Heritage Auctions. In doing so, Heritage became the first mainstream auction house to sell digital assets. Pretty cool!
Along the way, I picked up the first (and oldest) .com ever registered on the Internet: Symbolics.com (1985 registration date). We turned it into an Internet museum which is visited by well over 100,000 people annually — with no advertising.
Symbolics.com has been covered in tech news such as Tech Crunch and Wired.com and mainstream media like CNN, MSNBC, NPR, Fox News, CNBC, BBC and more.
I’ve been interviewed in major media for domain related stories by Forbes, WSJ, NY Times, Washington Post and many more.
